After School Art Studio @ MCA!
Students will work with a professional teaching artist in a college studio in this intensive weekly after-school program. They will also work alongside other dedicated young artists to improve their drawing and painting skills through focused projects and exercises. The class size is limited to 10 students to provide individualized attention and open to all skill levels. Supplies included in tuition.

You may be wondering what’s happening lately at Memphis College of Art...
In light of the school’s announcement that it will be closing in 2020, MCA is forging ahead with exhibitions and classes, including a full slate of Community Education programming for all ages this spring.
Adult courses are open to ages 16+ and take place over a single session or up to eight sessions depending on the subject. Try your hand at oil painting, digital photography, Adobe Photoshop, Metalsmithing, and more.
Whether you’re a beginner who’s ready to explore that inkling of creative potential that’s been tugging at you, or you’re an experienced artist refining your technique, MCA’s Community Education programs cater to varying skill levels and the class sizes are kept small to allow for individualized attention.
Private lessons are also an option for people who want to dive deeper into a particular technique or media. Youth classes are also offered in an after-school series and on Saturdays for ages 5 to 17.
